Amber Tamblyn
Amber Rose Tamblyn (born May 14, 1983) is an Emmy- and Golden Globe-nominated American actress and poet. She came to fame on the soap opera General Hospital followed by a starring role on the television series Joan of Arcadia. She has branched out into film roles, appearing in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and The Grudge 2.
Has been in two movies that were remakes of Japanese movies: The Ring (2002) and The Grudge 2 (2006).
Used hypnosis to get rid of her arachnophobia. She is no longer afraid of spiders.
Is a fan of singer Avril Lavigne.
Convinced a homeless man to pose as her father so she could get her navel pierced. It soon became infected and she had to confess to her parents. The story inspired an episode of “Joan of Arcadia”.
